If you want to find photo's with one (or more) of the words, you can use the OR operator. The same thing with AND, you can fill in Bridget and Katja if you want a picture with Bridget and Katja.
Bladeren
It is possible to browse through the archive in two different ways. Browse by date or browse by subject. When will you browse for date? If you know when a picture was made, you can click on the year, then the month and then search for the day.
When will you browse for subject? If you want to have a certain artist or image but don't know accectly how you write the name, it is possible to browse by alphabet. Of course you can just browse by subject to get an idea which photo's the Gentle Look Archive contains.
Preview
By clicking on a thumbnail (a small preview of the photo, on the left of the window), a bigger preview will apear at the right side of the window. This photo is marked with a watermark, this will not appear on the photo you download or order by email. The preview will stay at the right side of the window while you're browsing, until you'll click on an other thumbnail.
Downloading
It is possible to download a photo in two different ways.
You won't be charged for downloading.
Direct download: Select the photo (by clicking the checkbox) and press 'Download' at the bottom of the window. You'll be asked if you're sure you want to download. Click 'Ja' or 'Yes'. After that you can choose for recieving the photo by email or downloading it straight to your computer.
Email: If chosing email, click 'Ik wil deze foto via email ontvangen' (I want to receive this photo by email).
The photo will be emailed to you immediately. It will be sent to the mailaddress you gave Gentle Look. (This can take a few minutes, depending on the quantity of photo's). In this screen you can also change the emailaddress.
Note-1 Each photo will be send in a seperate email. When downloading seven photo's at the same time, your only option is to email it and you'll receive seven emails.
Note-2 Your email-provider can refuse attachments if it too big. Unfortunately we don't receive a message of that.
Note-3 If you have problems with receiving photo's by email, we advise you to use the direct download option.
* If chosing download, click 'Cancel' or 'Annuleer'. You'll see a new window in which you'll be asked if you want to open or save the photo. Choose 'Save As', choose a destiny at your computer and click 'Save'
Downloading by Lightbox:
You can choose not to download the photo's immediately, but saving them in the lightbox first. This has several advantages like having an overview of the photo's you selected before downloading them. The photo's you saved in your lightbox will be there the next time you logg in. The won't be removed untill you downloaded them or deleted them. About how lightboxes work you'll find more info under the subject 'Lightboxes'.
Lightboxes
The lightboxes make it possible to save your selected photo's in your ow 'lightbox'. You can create several lightboxes. This is helpfull if you are searching for more photo's of different artist. A lightbox is the starting point for ordering and downloding photo's en so the equivalent of the shoppingbasket.
* first of all you have to go to the section Lightbox (see fig. 2), when you'll click on the button you'll see a login screen (if you're not already logged in). After logging in you'll see the lightboxpage.
* Default you have one lightbox with the name 'Map 1', but it is possible to create or delete your own lightboxes. A lightbox can simply be added by typing the name in the field and by clicking on 'voeg map toe'. The lightbox will appear immediately.
* If you'll create more lightboxes, these can be found in the 'dropdown box' at the bottom of your screen when searching for photo's. If you have marked photo's, they can be added to the preferred lightbox by pressing 'voeg toe aan'. The advantage of more than one lightbox is that you are able to search for photo's for different articles and reserve organize them.
* As soon as you've donwloaded the photo (or don't need it anymore), it's possible to delete the photo's from the lightbox by pressing 'verwijder foto's in map' in the section Lightbox. It's also posible to delete just one picture by selecting the tumbnail and click on the button 'delete'.
Viewing Orders
It is possible to see which photo's you downloaded the last month. In the section Ligthbox is an overview of those photo's under your lightboxes.
